Become a Mentor

Mentoring can enhance your skills as a physician and improve performance. An experienced physician can help residents prepare for the future and adapt to the culture, work-life balance and business of medicine.

Roles of mentors/mentees should be clearly defined and it is suggested that mentors meet with mentees on a regular basis, whether through video calls, in-person or by other means. A timeline should be clearly established with expectations clear to both mentor and mentee.
